After an impressive first full year as the summer collegiate broadcaster for the Palm Springs Power in the prestigious California Premier Collegiate League, EJ is eager to make an impact in Seguin.
EJ’s broadcasting journey began in 2017 while he was still in high school, delivering compelling play-by-play coverage for Liberty Hill High School football. Since then, he has honed his craft in prep sports, currently serving as a play-by-play broadcaster for Dave Campbell's Texan Live. His versatile and professional voice has resonated across platforms like ESPN+, FloSports, and syndicated FM radio.
A proud recent graduate of Concordia University-Texas (Class of 2024), EJ earned his degree in Public Relations with Cum Laude honors while excelling as a four-year letterman on the university’s baseball team. His athletic achievements are as impressive as his broadcasting credentials: a two-time All-ASC selection as both a third baseman and catcher, and the holder of the program’s all-time record for caught stealing percentage among catchers.
EJ’s deep understanding of Central Texas sports culture and his firsthand experience with the NCAA lifestyle position him perfectly to elevate the River Monsters experience. With his sights set on another championship season, EJ is ready to bring his passion, professionalism, and winning mindset to Seguin.
