The Seguin River Monsters will be back at Smokey Joe Williams Stadium for the summer of 2024 and kick off the fun with a four game home stand to start of the Texas Collegiate League season starting on May 30th. First pitch for all games, both home and away, will be at 7:00PM.
The defending TCL Champions will host rival Victoria Generals on Thursday, May 30th, the first of a back-to-back versus Victoria, in what should be an exciting Opening Day in Seguin. The River Monsters and Generals squared off in a 3 game playoff series in 2023, in which Seguin prevailed en route to winning their first Haddock Trophy.
The rest of the opening weekend home stand continues with a Saturday and Sunday series versus the Acadiana Cane Cutters on June 1st and 2nd which features the past two TCL Champions, with the Acadiana winning the league in 2022.
Tuesday, June 18th and Wednseday, June 19th the newest member of the Texas Collegiate League, the Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators, will be in town for their first trip to Smokey Joe.
The 2024 regular season will wrap up with a two game series versus Acadiana on Saturday, July 27th and Sunday, July 28th.
The River Monsters will host 24 regular season home games throughout the summer, 16 games in May/June and 8 in July. This season will be packed with even MORE fun, MORE promotions, MORE deals and MORE giveaways. Stay tuned!
